Success Rates with Low Testosterone treatments
Having discussed extensively on this topic “low testosterone treatments”, I decided to go for a field trip to hospitals and local health care centers that have low testosterone treatments sections to know the success rates of this treatment. In this article, I will be narrating the outcome of my interview with some people that I met in the hospitals visited.
- I first met a man named John (not his real name) and asked him about his journey from the time he was tested and found out to have low testosterone level but on this visit, he has completed his treatment and was there for the final test. His replies were encouraging as can be supported by the result of the test; he began by telling me how he experienced most of the symptoms of low testosterone level, and after so many years of marriage, he was unable to get his wife pregnant and how a friend referred him to that particular hospital to find out what’s up with him. I asked him about some of the symptoms he experienced and he told me that he experienced erectile dysfunction, low sex drive and depression. He told me that after he was diagnosed, the doctor recommended a supplement known as “ageless male supplement” and that after some time, he could see an appreciable increase in testosterone level, but not up to the normal level. He said that after taking some more of this supplement, the doctor decided to recheck the level (that was on that day) and the results were pretty cool. He had a testosterone level of 334 Nano grams per deciliter and was very happy for the results.
- After that, I entered into a teaching hospital and found a man who was very unhappy and with all my efforts to have a word with him, he declined all. I later asked the doctor on duty why the man was unhappy and he said “he (the man) has had several testosterone treatments but the results weren’t encouraging and he had to get furious and dash out of the hospital in that manner”. I then asked the doctor how long the man has been receiving the treatment and he said that it was close to 6 months. I then asked him if I could get some data from the number of patients he has treated so as to know the success rate of the treatment. He refused at first but after some more persuasion, he should me the library where they were kept.
- From their records, I could see that out of the 129 patients handled by the hospital this year; about 100 of them got an increase in their testosterone level after some few months of treatment. I also found out that they make use of different medical methods of increasing testosterone level for their treatment and also included the use of supplements and diet recommendations to the patients.

From my little field trip, I found out that the success rates in low testosterone treatment are high and so, it is a worthwhile venture. I also realized that those who didn’t experience the desired results might not have harkened to the directives by the doctors or might have some other problems that might be beyond medical knowledge.
