JUVÉDERM® XC is available in two formulations to better meet the needs of different patients. JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC provides volumizing and contouring for moderate wrinkles and folds, whereas JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC can be used to treat the deeper folds and wrinkles.
JUVÉDERM® is made of a synthetic version of hyaluronic acid, a sugar that occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid fillers work by holding in water at the injection site and adding temporary volume, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and folds and creating an overall smoother appearance.
The average treatment session only takes 30 minutes and could be performed over your lunch break.
